Maxine speaking about her grandma: My mum passed away four years ago, and my grandma has become like a second mother to me. Something I love about our relationship is that I always feel like I am talking to an older version of myself. One of my fondest memories is when we went to Vienna together, but to be honest, she is such a fun person to be around that whenever she is there, I am always smiling, laughing, and having a good time. I feel very fortunate to have all the support and love she gives me because it is like I have a mum, best friend, and grandma all rolled into one.
